They were here to receive recognition from the commissioners for recovering a woman's $40,000 wedding ring from the sewer system about a half-mile from where it was accidentally flushed away. (The woman had been in a health club when she dropped her ring into the toilet. The automatic flusher swept it away before she could retrieve it.
