The clock tower in Campustown, adjacent to the Iowa State campus. (Is it just me, or is there something unseamly about that gas station?)
The student slave labor at a local pizza joint.
Artsy architectural shots. (I wish I had more light control with my cheapo camera.)
Growing marijuana on the ISU campus.
A bunny wabbit sighting on campus, in night vision. Since this is the night before Easter, could it be the EASTER BUNNY!
Industrial chic. Reminds me of the Lancome factory in Paris.
Found myself with two flat tires in Ames, so I stayed here longer than expected.
Took a cab on Easter morning to try to find a replacement tire. I had a lively conversation with the cab driver on the Bodily Fluids issue. Obviously, bodily fluids on the outside of the vehicle is a better deal.
This was a truly scary Easter Bunny (actually in a mall in Tulsa, not Ames). He was the most passive one I had ever seen. He didn't wave or shake hands with the kids. He just sat there.
A seasonal capitalist exploitation project.
