Near the end of the passageway is the workshop of a homeless man. He lives in the shack at the top of the picture. My car is visible in the tunnel. (#1610)

This is Pepper, who lives here. He let me take his picture in exchange for a "donation." Pepper told me some of his story. He grew up in Iowa. He says that he has only be homeless for a "few weeks." He says he has a daughter, who I believe is 8 years old. She lives in Iowa with her mother. (#1626)
